Ann Bell – Certificate IV in Aged Care, Certificate IV in TAA, Registered Nurse,
Ann is a highly experienced and qualified Aged care trainer with a training experience of many years in the aged care sector. She is our trainer for the Certificate III and IV in Aged Care.
Leonie Schilling – Diploma of Professional Counselling, Diploma of Child Care and Education,Certificate IV in Training, Assessment and Education TAE40110
Leonie is our trainer for the Diploma in Counselling, She is a highly experienced and qualified counsellor and trainer. Her passion for counselling and will to extend her knowledge to students makes her an excellent trainer. Leonie also conducts the workshops which are part of the course curriculum for the Diploma.
Dorina Iancu – Certificate IV in Dental Assisting, Diploma Of Vocational Education and Training, Bachelor of Arts with Double major in Psychology, Certificate IV in Training, Assessment and Education TAE40110
Dorina is a highly qualified trainer, She has extensive experience in many fields. She tutors Dental Assisting and Psychology with HCA and HAA.
Julie Novak – Advanced Diploma Nutritional Medicine, Naturopathy, Certificate IV in Massage Therapy, Allied Health Assistance, Certificate III in Aged Care.
Julie is highly qualified in many disciplines of Nutrition and Natural Health. Julie is an experienced teacher and communicator who is interested in furthering the knowledge of others. Melinda Kearsley – Bachelor of Health Science, Ad Diploma Naturopathy
Melinda is a highly qualified in many disciplines of nutrition and natural health. Melinda is a practicign naturopath and brings her extensive practical knowledge into her tutoring. She tutors Nutrition and Natural Health courses for Health Academy.
Kelly Galvin – Bachelor of Naturopathy, Graduate Diploma in Education, Certificate IV in TAE, Member ANTA, Certificate IV Small Business
Kelly has enjoyed a career as a natural therapist and teacher of Naturopathy for over 15 years. Her experience has included pioneering naturopathy courses in tertiary institutions in both Australia and the UK. Kelly has travelled extensively to learn and integrate healing tools from various models of complementary health and has a unique approach to balance current science and traditional art of natural therapies. Kelly is currently lecturer in nutritional health, clinical diagnosis & energy medicine along with tutoring in Naturopathic student clinics. Kelly uses a range of Naturopathic modalities in her own practice including Herbal Medicine, Nutritional assessment, dietary therapy & supplementation, Homeopathy, Bach Flower Essences, Constitutional Hydrotherapy.
Sharon Adams – Diploma Applied Science (Naturopathy)
Sharon is a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association since 1994 and has worked as a Nutritionist and Naturopath from 17 years. She has extensive experience teaching in vocational education developing training materials. Sharon tutors all the nutrition courses for Health Academy.
David Webb – David is the author of Essential Man and is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS). David was the former Vice-Chairperson of the National Council for the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA), and Editor of the aromatherapy journal, ‘Simply Essential’. David is the current president of the International Aromatherapy and Aromatic Medicine Association (IAAMA).
Dr Matthew Roberts – MBBS, Bachelor of Biomedical science (major Anatomy)
Matthew is a Medical doctor and is working currently at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. He has worked as an Anatomy Lecturer and tutor for Australian Catholic Universty and UQ respectively.He is an excellent tutor and students love to tap into his knowledge. He is a valuable member of our team.
Justine Boss – BA Psychology, Dip counselling, Dip Child Psychology
Justine is highly qualified with a bachelors degree and a range of Diplomas and certificates in Psychology and Counselling. She has experience working with disabled children. She tutors all the counselling and Psychology modules at Health Academy.
Vahini Panda – B.Sc.(Biology & Nutrition), MIT (E Commerce)
Vahini has worked as a clinical dietician in a cardiac unit and worked in many management positions. Vahini has 10 years experience in managing a vocational institute. She is the Academic Director and CEO for Health Academy Australia and Health Courses Australia. She is passionate about training and providing the best possible support and services to all the students. Her passion for business was recognised and she was awarded with the International Womens day Business Enncouragement award, 2013 by Women at Work and Gold Coast City Council and also is an Awardee of merit at the Gold Coast Women in Business awards 2017 .
Our Admin Team
Nicole is our Administrative and Student Services Manager. Her friendly nature makes her very approachable for students. She is our student counsellor who helps students decide on the course they want to undertake. She is a dedicated worker and strives to provide excellent service to our students. Her efforts are often praised by students and tutors alike.
Miranda Rudd Hughes
Miranda is our Admin and Student Services Officer. She is is the point of contact for emails and phone calls. She is also completing her Bachelors in Exercise science and is passionate about Health and Fitness. She is polite, helpful and friendly and loves helping out students.
