The course will involve practical tasks, The practical assessments are done in 2 ways:

Option 1: As third party reports, which you need to get an observer who is qualified as a mental health worker or similar. You can send the details of your nominated observer to us and we can then approve her/him as per the course requirements. We will provide you all the paperwork required. Your assessor will then assess and you mark you off on these. This can be done from wherever you are. You will need another person to volunteer to act as your client.

Option 2: The other option is to book sessions with your trainer and complete the practical assessments and your trainer will sign you off. This is beneficial for people who would like to work with a counsellor for their practicals, the sessions are conducted in Brisbane, so you will be required to attend them in Brisbane.
